Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, engineering, or equivalent experience
15 years’ experience (total)
2-3 years of product/service/offering management experience
Strong understanding of data center design and operations and advanced thermal management technologies (plus)
Experience providing direction and leadership to highly-educated engineering teams
Experience working with Sales and business leadership; presenting analysis of product performance, cost, pricing, competitive benchmarking and market trends
Preferred: MBA or other graduate-level degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Demonstrated high-level understanding of market trends in the data center or related industry
Experience interfacing with customers, gathering voice of customer (VOC) and managing complex customer issues
Demonstrated attention to detail, commitment to quality, results-driven and customer-focused
Demonstrated ability to write well, edit effectively, and present complex issues succinctly and persuasively
Basic understanding of the budgeting process and key financial indicators (ROI, IRR, NPV)
Ability to follow established guidelines and processes (e.g., Capital Requests)
Basic understanding of various business models (subscription, product/service delivery, distribution, etc.)
Ability to gather and analyze economic, financial, market, and industry information
Ability to understand and implement transactional pricing recommendations and value pricing/value capture models
Strong VOC skill set and ability to provide meaningful VOC insights
Ability to take calculated risks using facts, data, and scenario planning tools
Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities and decline non-strategic work
Ability to travel
