About the role
- Manage and own product layer throughout the product lifecycle
- Gather feedback, research customer/prospect needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Define product plan and assist/collaborate on product strategy
- Deliver PRDs with prioritized features and justifications
- Write detailed requirements and ensure user stories are completed, accepted, and prioritized in the backlog ready for sprint planning
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and quality assurance during planning, development, and release
- Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and customer success on product launches
- Run beta/early adopter programs for early-stage products
- Act as product leader and evangelize the product internally
- Communicate transparently with stakeholders and provide feedback
- Develop domain expertise, break down problem space, and maximize product value
Requirements
- Previous product management experience
- Demonstrated success in defining and launching excellent products
- Possess data driven & creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Ability to wear many hats within a day, switching mindsets frequently
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Confidence in representing the product organization internally and externally
