About the role
- Coordinate and manage Service Engineering product requirements with minimal supervision
- Oversee analysis of device failures during the repair process and inspect process handling systems
- Perform investigations into product/service failures and support post-market activities
- Provide technical assistance to the Engineering department
- Evaluate electrical, thermal, and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits and components to determine root cause
- Analyze failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Develop formal failure analysis reports and present findings to other groups
- Establish new processes and improve existing ones; introduce, set up, and maintain equipment for the UB repair process
- Test product performance, find defects for correction, and perform maintenance to ensure product performance and safety
- Develop and refine assembly procedures, optimize assembly process for efficiency and consistency, and oversee assembly line operations
- Perform root cause analysis on devices that do not meet quality criteria
Requirements
- Bilingual in Korean and English Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 2+ years of experience required (electronics analysis, embedded systems, or consumer electronics)
- Experience in analysis and the ability to clearly document diagnosis and repair procedures
- Previous experience with GSM/CDMA/3G/4G(LTE) and 5G Field
- Demonstrated ability to perform independent work duties and manage workload
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and high hand/finger dexterity for electronic component repair
- High level of visual acuity, numeric/character distinction and moderate color distinction for test equipment operation
