💰 £35,000 - £43,000 per year
About the role
- Provide pragmatic and effective HR advice, problem-solving and guidance across all people-related matters
- Partner with key stakeholders to support people strategies, development and workforce planning
- Build trusted relationships with managers and employees to influence good people practices and leadership
- Manage monthly payroll in collaboration with external payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage annual third-party benefit reviews and information
- Design and deliver onboarding, training, guidance, tools and development sessions; facilitate workshops and engagement initiatives
- Champion inclusion and neurodiversity, collaborating to ensure accessible and equitable work environments
- Work collaboratively with Head of HR on cross-functional projects and change initiatives, supporting planning, communication, and follow-through
- Mentor junior colleagues and support cross-role learning; balance operational and strategic priorities
Requirements
- Experienced all-rounder HR generalist comfortable managing strategic and operational priorities
- Ability to build trusted relationships with managers and employees and influence people practices
- Experience mentoring junior colleagues and supporting cross-role learning
- Understanding of payroll lifecycle and ideally experience managing a payroll provider
- Confident with HR systems (including BambooHR)
- Eager to promote and adopt the use of AI within the team
- Strong relationship building, communication, and influencing skills
- Champion inclusive practices and support neurodiverse employees
- Right to live and work in the UK independently (no work permit support)
