Inspect property and all common areas each morning to detect maintenance problems
Vacuum, sweep, clean toilets, take out trash, scrub floors, disinfect hallways, community room, and leasing office
Patrol grounds daily to remove litter and clean entryways and stairwells; focus on pool areas, leasing office, models, and mail areas; report repairs to Leasing Office/work order
Handle chemicals, including pool chemicals, safely and responsibly
Perform trash-out duties in vacated apartments and remove abandoned furniture, trash, and boxes
Sweep and blow off sidewalks, walkways, parking areas, garages, and dumpster areas using a leaf blower or power-washer
Support service team members and perform other tasks assigned by Community Manager or Regional Manager
Requirements
Must possess knowledge and skills in the safe use and maintenance of power tools and mechanical equipment
Ability to interact professionally with community residents, staff members, and visitors
Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, lifting, bending, and pulling throughout the workday
Ability to identify areas for improvement and offer suggestions to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the property
Time management and problem-solving skills
A positive attitude
Must have a valid driver's license
Basic knowledge of and experience with light general maintenance and landscaping (preferred)
