Responsible for closing and contracting corporate travel accounts using effective sales and marketing techniques and coordination of available resources
Manage a small team of Sales Reps while maintaining personal quota achievement
Increase company revenues by means of new client acquisition
Develop targeted strategic business relationships at senior level with lead generation partners on a long-term basis over an extended sales cycle
Works with VP Partnerships to target new liquidity partners (GPOs etc)
Create plans for acquisition of new midmarket business opportunities
Ensure thorough discovery is completed for all identified opportunities
Establishes and maintains relationships with key prospect and existing client decision makers at all levels within the client organization
Requirements
8+ years business travel sales experience
Experience in closing and implementing midmarket sized customers ($500K-$5M TTV)
Effective communication skills, oral, written and presentation
Proficient in business software applications – Outreach, Salesforce, Microsoft Office
Thorough knowledge of business travel management and supplier landscape
Deep knowledge of travel industry technology
Ability and willingness to travel within North America
College degree preferred
