About the role
- Provide onsite/in-person mental health counselling for the employees of Intellect's local clients in the Philippines
- Report to the client's office for morning, evening, or overnight shifts depending on client requests
- Work rotating shifts as needed with at least 30 days' notice for changes
- Facilitate 1-on-1 sessions on various mental health topics (e.g. resilience, stress management, and well-being resources)
- Lead group sessions on coping strategies for stress and challenging information
- Moderate peer support sessions to encourage shared experiences and well-being discussions
- Develop and deliver group sessions and workshops to promote mental health awareness and resilience
- Attend and complete required continuous development tasks, including clinical supervisions and module completion
- Share a monthly report on utilisation/participation
- Collaborate with Intellect's internal clinical team to suggest program and platform improvements
- Attend ad-hoc 1-hour check-ins (usually monthly) with the internal Intellect team for reporting and operational needs
Requirements
- Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent accredited programme
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Minimum of 500 supervised clinical hours (excluding internships and academic placements)
- Skilled in Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Approaches
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for trauma survivors
- Somatic Experiencing (SE)
- Must hold valid and active licenses applicable to the country of practice
- One supervision session every 2 months (supervision requirement)
- Proficiency in English and your local language
- Preferred: Prior experience with EAP and/or adult counseling
- Flexibility and openness to occasional onsite work, if necessary
