About the role

We are looking for an exceptional, intelligent, and quality Clinical Support Specialist who will ensure that patient needs are fulfilled by fulfilling timely administrative requests so that the nursing team can focus on their calls and triage!

  • Must be tech savvy, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have keyboard competence
  • Must be willing to work a set 2 week rotation schedule: Week 1: Wednesday-Friday 3:30p-10p CST; Week 2: Monday & Tuesday 4p-10p CST and Saturday & Sunday 12p-8p CST

  • Provide direct support to front-line staff by processing requests in a work queue that includes scheduling and order fulfillment
  • Schedule/Assign nursing visits for customers within the customer’s EMR system
  • Monitor announcements for changes to customers’ On-Call Schedules and update the system and team accordingly
  • Enter orders for Durable Medical Equipment into the appropriate systems as designated by the customer
  • Process medication refill requests through customers’ pharmacy
  • Complete other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Reports to the Director of Call Center Operations
  • Support IntellaTriage’s mission to deliver compassionate, around-the-clock care through virtual Registered Nurses

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Requires a minimum of 1-year experience in an administrative support role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft business applications
  • You are passionate about excellence in the delivery and consistency of patient care
  • You are organized and detail oriented
  • You work quickly and pride yourself on keeping the inbox clean
  • You embrace accountability for excellent customer service by acting quickly and decisively without direct supervision
  • You foster teamwork and motivate others to perform at a high level
  • You do what is right every time and without question
