About the role
- Turn complex medical claim data into clear, actionable insights.
- Use SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI (DAX, Power Query, visuals) to build reliable models and reports.
- Interpret results, frame the story, and advise decision-makers beyond dashboards.
- Build, publish, and govern Power BI reports and semantic models; optimize DAX for performance and usability.
- Perform exploratory analyses in SQL/Python (cohorting, drivers, segmentation, forecasting).
- Design and maintain data models, queries, and ETL/Power Query steps to deliver trustworthy datasets.
- Establish documentation, QA checks, and data quality guardrails.
- Create reusable analytics assets (measures, templates, views) to accelerate future work.
- Track and communicate KPIs, trends, and business drivers to stakeholders on a regular cadence.
- Mentor analysts and contribute to the hiring plan, standards, and workflows for a growing analytics team.
- Partner with business leaders to scope questions, define metrics, and translate needs into analytical requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Ops, Finance, Product, Sales, RevOps, IT) to align data definitions and priorities.
Requirements
- Experience using SQL, Python (pandas, statsmodels), Excel, and Power BI (DAX, Power Query, visuals).
- Designed and executed A/B or multivariate tests (e.g., testing new patient intake workflows, provider outreach methods).
- Experience with hypothesis-driven analysis and experimental design.
- Applied statistical methods (regression, cohort analysis, survival analysis, variance decomposition).
- Proficiency in ad hoc analysis using SQL, Python, or R.
- Defined KPIs and success metrics for growth, operations, or revenue cycle performance.
- Experience translating ambiguous business problems into structured analytic solutions.
- Ability to prioritize insights by ROI and present to leadership in a decision-ready format.
- Strong with Power BI, Tableau, Looker; emphasis on storytelling, not just reporting.
- Portfolio examples: executive dashboards with drill-throughs, KPI scorecards for CFOs, workflow trackers for intake teams.
- Led client workshops or stakeholder sessions to define analytic needs.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams (finance, operations, IT) to align analytics deliverables with strategic goals.
- Ability to bridge technical and business audiences — explain model assumptions to clinicians and validate data lineage with engineers.
- Willingness to work Night Shift (following U.S. Time Zone).
- Work Setup: 100% Onsite (Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City).
