Revenue Operations

• Own the technical infrastructure that powers our revenue engine
• Architect our CRM data model and integrate new data sources
• Lead the technical implementation of AI tools across our sales processes
• Work alongside the Revenue Operations Manager
• Maintain our CRM data model in HubSpot
• Build and maintain data pipelines that connect external sources into our CRM
• Establish data governance standards and ensure data quality across all revenue systems
• Create a "single source of truth" for revenue data that sales, marketing, and CS can trust
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI tools that enhance sales productivity
• Build automated workflows that reduce manual work for reps
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into pipeline health, conversion rates, and GTM performance
• Own outside integrations between our revenue tools

• Develop a deep understanding of nonprofit realities, including funding volatility, staff burnout, compliance constraints, and multi-persona workflows.
• Build a coherent strategic narrative that connects market context → customer problems → product themes → roadmap.
• Evaluate when AI is genuinely additive versus when rules-based logic, scoring, or analytics are sufficient.
• Define and align on a clear product North Star (e.g., multi-workflow adoption).
• Communicate clearly and structurally, making complex ideas understandable to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ensure accuracy of financial statements, manage the month-close process, handle daily operations, and act as main contact for our annual audit
• Manage our revenue accounting policy, own the monthly sales commission cycle, handle the accounting for equity grants and exercises and provide guidance on technical research
• Ensure board prep data and act as primary point of contact for our external accounting firm
• Manage and optimize our existing tools: QuickBooks Online (GL), Ramp (Expenses/Cards), and Gusto (Payroll), Implement ways to automate our data as well as upgrades to our systems

• Build the core analytics practices, tools, and standards that will scale with the company.
• Serve as the embedded data partner for Acquisition and Activation, owning measurement, experimentation, and funnel analysis.
• Design and analyze experiments, then communicate results in clear, actionable summaries for Product, Growth, and Finance.
• Define key product and growth metrics and build dashboards that connect performance to ARR, activation, and ROI.
• Partner with Data Platform and Engineering to ensure tracking accuracy and strong data pipelines across Heap, BigQuery, and Omni.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis on user behavior and conversion trends to identify growth opportunities and quantify revenue and efficiency impact.
• Contribute to company-wide experimentation frameworks, documentation, and decision-making processes.

• Scale our virtual events program to 3x pipeline impact
• Expand our in-person event footprint (conferences, dinners, regional meetups, hosted gatherings)
• Launch and grow a digital community of practice for grant professionals
• Design and pilot a structured program that turns Instrumentl power users into advocates
• Manage and develop three direct reports (ECM Coordinator, ECM Manager, and one additional open role: Field Events Manager)
