About the role
- Operate at the intersection of people strategy and business objectives, driving programs that foster scalability, engagement, and diversity for Brand Partnerships (Ads Sales).
- Design people-oriented processes from the ground up and work through complex challenges in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to Brand Partnership leadership, advising on organizational development, succession planning, and performance management.
- Champion employees by fostering growth opportunities, designing career development initiatives, and offering expertise in learning, total rewards, and employee relations.
- Create and execute innovative people strategies aimed at attracting, engaging, and retaining top-tier, diverse talent.
- Lead as a culture advocate, promoting Instacart’s values and navigating change management.
- Collaborate with People Team Centers of Excellence (COEs) and client groups to deliver initiatives and process improvements that drive meaningful impact.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a high-growth technology company and 4+ years of overall HR or related work experience.
- Proven track record in implementing impactful people programs and strategies.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all organizational levels.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and their application in day-to-day people operations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively in ambiguous environments.
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
- Prior experience supporting Sales organizations (preferred).
- Passion for working in environments undergoing rapid growth and change (preferred).
- Must be located in one of the following provinces: Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.
