About the role
- Responsible for managing the Jönköping terminal, its fleet, last mile delivery and crossdocking operations during the night for SE.
- Empower employees to effectively carry out duties, take responsibility for the business, and develop in their roles.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and good delivery quality.
- Report to the Regional Manager - West and work closely with other Site Managers in the region.
- Develop the site by initiating and implementing tactical and strategic activities and improvement work that aligns with Instabee's long-term strategies and goals.
- Lead, coach and follow up with employees in their respective assignments.
- Manage sorting and last mile delivery operations to meet delivery deadlines without errors.
- Analyze and identify cost drivers and be responsible for achieving a cost-effective business.
- Manage staff scheduling to ensure cost efficiency, staff motivation, and compliance with labor laws.
- Ensure the safety of employees and provide a good work environment.
- Responsible for recruitment, retention, and development of staff, including performance reviews.
- Responsible for the site's budget and KPIs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a successful leader in a similar role, preferably from a growing and/or production-oriented business.
- Experience managing a team and handling staff issues, recruitment, retention and staff development, including performance reviews.
- Strategic perspective and ability to come up with creative solutions to challenges.
- Role model with an understanding of how to create and maintain a successful culture and strong, healthy teams.
- “Can do”-attitude and ability to influence the people around you.
- Comfortable with and enjoy an environment characterised by fast pace, rapid changes and growth.
- Experienced in handling staff issues and developing staff skills.
- Communicative and cooperative, used to maintaining relationships with several stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Union negotiation expertise and experience in occupational health and safety is a plus.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English.
- Willingness to complete personality and logical tests via Alva Labs and background checks via Verifiera (mandatory for Instabee Sweden recruitments).
