About the role

  • Own our US Insurance Operations and Sales including sales strategy, operational efficiency, P&L management, and team leadership.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for US operations and sales, translating company-wide goals into measurable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Own the full P&L for the US insurance business, using data-driven analysis for forecasting, managing budgets, and controlling costs to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Guide a high-performing sales team by setting ambitious targets and developing data-driven sales strategies.
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the business, using data analytics to identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience.
  • Recruit, train, support and develop a talented team of insurance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Marketing, Product, Pricing, Underwriting and Finance, to ensure cohesive outcomes by aligning departmental efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience driving operational direction, growth, and accountability across US markets.
  • A strong ability to use data and analytics to inform decisions, track performance, and drive accountability.
  • A proven record of overseeing full financial performance, including meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Expert knowledge of US insurance products, distribution channels, and the regulatory landscape, ideally including Commercial Auto.
  • The ability to inspire transformation and drive success in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Excellence in negotiation, collaborating and engaging diverse stakeholders, and delivering executive-level presentations.
  • A style that models professionalism, accountability, trust, and the highest ethical standards.
  • A knack for combining strong business acumen with forward-thinking strategies to capture key growth opportunities.
