About the role

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategy aligning with business goals
  • Identify and target new business leads and sales opportunities; establish relationships and negotiate terms to onboard new clients
  • Manage a sales pipeline of high-value opportunities
  • Collaborate with OTC Desk, Marketing, Compliance, and Support Team to ensure onboarding, activation, and retention of clients
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements
  • Use data and analytics to track and report on sales performance and make strategic recommendations
  • Participate in group presentations, webinars, and industry networking events
  • Follow up on and manage inbound enquiries
  • Onboard customers onto the OTC trading desk while observing regulatory obligations
  • Explore business growth avenues through social media and lead-generation channels with Marketing support

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for crypto and the ability to quickly build on existing knowledge of the crypto ecosystem
  • Ideally, a minimum of 2-3 years of B2B sales and business development experience from a financial services, payments or investment background
  • Ability to demonstrate previous success in managing client-facing roles
  • Ability to manage a sales process through entire sales cycle: qualification, contract negotiation, closing
  • Ability to plan, execute, and evaluate sales and marketing events, including managing budgets, negotiating with vendors, coordinating logistics, and assessing ROI
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, ability to engage with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Willingness to engage in outbound sales initiatives and a flair for presenting
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Tenacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to think creatively and apply effective problem-solving skills
  • CRM (HubSpot) experience (ideal)
