Work closely with Field Sales Representatives and Customer Support to develop strategies to maintain Customer Accounts through education and customer-centric solutions
Install and train clinic staff on IDEXX Diagnostic Imaging Systems
Provide onsite technical support and assist with critical customer need visits when issues arise
Visit customers in the field daily and adjust schedule to attend customer events and emergency practice visits
Serve as an IDEXX Ambassador and trusted advisor, planning and strategizing customer visits using company tools
Manage schedule based on customer attributes and needs while focusing on professional development
Travel extensively (up to 75%) and work from a home office to support field-based customers
Build relationships, collaborate with team members, and represent IDEXX values in customer interactions
Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years veterinary clinic experience
Training and/or leadership background strongly preferred
Effective communication and collaboration with customers, management, and peers
Ability to build strong customer and peer partnerships
Ability to plan and prioritize work in a dynamic environment and make quality, timely decisions
Effective listening skills to discover customer needs and adapt approach
Comfortable learning and using technology such as computers, tablets and Smartphones
Computer networking experience is a plus
Valid Driver’s License required
Fluency in the English language
Weekend hours and weekday overtime may be required
Requires up to 75% travel (3-4 overnights a week away from home), both air and car travel
Ability to travel and work internationally
Ability to lift, move and carry up to 60 pounds
Ability to communicate verbally on phone and in person
Able to work in busy veterinary clinic environment and around animals
