About the role

  • Work closely with Field Sales Representatives and Customer Support to develop strategies to maintain Customer Accounts through education and customer-centric solutions
  • Install and train clinic staff on IDEXX Diagnostic Imaging Systems
  • Provide onsite technical support and assist with critical customer need visits when issues arise
  • Visit customers in the field daily and adjust schedule to attend customer events and emergency practice visits
  • Serve as an IDEXX Ambassador and trusted advisor, planning and strategizing customer visits using company tools
  • Manage schedule based on customer attributes and needs while focusing on professional development
  • Travel extensively (up to 75%) and work from a home office to support field-based customers
  • Build relationships, collaborate with team members, and represent IDEXX values in customer interactions

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years veterinary clinic experience
  • Training and/or leadership background strongly preferred
  • Effective communication and collaboration with customers, management, and peers
  • Ability to build strong customer and peer partnerships
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work in a dynamic environment and make quality, timely decisions
  • Effective listening skills to discover customer needs and adapt approach
  • Comfortable learning and using technology such as computers, tablets and Smartphones
  • Computer networking experience is a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Fluency in the English language
  • Weekend hours and weekday overtime may be required
  • Requires up to 75% travel (3-4 overnights a week away from home), both air and car travel
  • Ability to travel and work internationally
  • Ability to lift, move and carry up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to communicate verbally on phone and in person
  • Able to work in busy veterinary clinic environment and around animals
