About the role
- Sell the IDEXX product portfolio in the field of veterinary diagnostics
- Develop and strengthen close customer relationships
- Support veterinary practices and clinics with in-house diagnostics
- Work closely with other IDEXX sales specialists
- Communicate customer needs and competitive issues to the marketing organization and management
- Collaborate closely with laboratory departments to resolve customer queries and issues
- Professionally represent IDEXX's corporate values
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and practical experience
- Experience successfully managing your own sales territory
- Sales experience in the veterinary/animal health sector or in sales of human medical devices, dental products, and/or capital equipment
- Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented, cooperative, and sales-driven environment
- Ability to meet the requirements of field-based work, including driving by car and flexibility for weekend work
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
