About the role Your role will involve counseling children, adolescents and young adults. Topics include anxiety, loneliness, depressive symptoms, or problems at school and within the family. Each chat shift lasts 2.5 hours and can be scheduled flexibly. A voluntary commitment of at least 5 hours per month is desired. An onboarding program is provided. Requirements Completed Bachelor's degree in Psychology, or a Bachelor's student with an additional qualification or significant counseling experience. Psychotherapists in training or fully qualified in recognized therapeutic approaches. Physicians with an additional qualification in psychotherapy. Teachers and educators with additional psychosocial counseling experience. Social workers and social pedagogues with state recognition. Basic computer skills. German language (written) at C2 level. Submission of an extended police clearance certificate is mandatory. Volunteering at krisenchat is an opportunity to gain experience in an innovative digital counseling setting. Because of the low-threshold access, you will encounter a broad spectrum of topics and crises. You will be able to further develop your skills in crisis intervention. You will work closely with a highly committed and diverse community. Free group supervision sessions are offered. Regular feedback meetings.
