About the role

  • Support and promote products and programs through education, training, assessment, and problem solving in pre and post sales activities
  • Work with the ICU Medical team (Area Managers, Device Sales Specialists, National Pharmacy Consultant, Regional Sales Managers, Marketing, IT Specialists, Service teams, etc.) to plan and execute regional, territory, and account plans
  • Manage assigned Implementation projects for ICU Medical products in both the Systems and Consumables portfolios
  • Lead assigned projects in a Project Management capacity using ICU Project Management tools and present issues, recommendations, and updates to customers and internal stakeholders on assigned projects
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of products, services and clinical recommendations to positively influence sales opportunities and implementations across Consumables, Infusion Systems, Temperature Management, Pain Management, and IV Solutions
  • Educate/train on the utilization of Lifeshield, MedNet and Pharmguard safety software system
  • Collaborate with sales team to develop strategies and action plans to clinically influence decision toward new products and services and drive acceptance and satisfaction
  • Serve as lead nursing consultant and resource to internal and external customers for all Pre and Post Sales activities and Implementation plans
  • Serve as lead educator and liaison between internal resources and customers related to product and system Implementations
  • Develop and lead in-service program of products at customer facility and account specific programs aimed at retaining or growing ICU Medical’s product and service footprint
  • Track all projects in Klient or other systems and mentor internal colleagues regarding best practices and protocol changes
  • Conduct presentations and discussions with key individuals/groups to address clinical issues or concerns
  • Assist with product complaints, troubleshoot issues and liaison with other departments as necessary
  • Maintain relationship with customers and ongoing support to users and maintain a high level of clinical and technical competence on relevant products, technologies, protocols, and programs
  • Support local and national product trials, product simulations, and trade shows and assist with RFPs and special projects as required
  • Provide project leadership, organize and lead multi-disciplinary project team through associated project activities
  • Manage Service Delivery including Scope, Resources, Timelines and the Change Order Process
  • Set customer expectations in accordance with agreed upon terms and conditions and proactively identify, communicate and manage engagement risks
  • Manage all engagements within predefined performance targets including customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Analyze project forecasts, timelines, budgets, reports, and metrics to ensure project deliverables arrive on time and on budget
  • Facilitate contingency planning, project risk assessment, and other decision-making activities as needed
  • Maintain project management records related to implementations, including customer and ICU Medical stakeholders, milestone progress, roles and responsibilities, and appropriate customer sign-off of project completion success

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, energetic, professional, and able to perform job duties with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and organization skills and able to multitask
  • Computer literate and proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, MS Project and SQL/Database management tools
  • Project Management experience required, including cross functional collaboration, budget management, project scheduling/timeline management, resources planning, PM record keeping, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bilingual in French and English is preferred, but not required
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Current active RN license required, BSN or MSN preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of Hospital nursing experience combined with Project Management Experience
  • Experience with specialization in IV Therapy, Critical Care, ED, Peds/NICU or Oncology
  • Project Management experience in the Healthcare Industry preferred
  • Leadership, mentorship or educator experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass pre-employment background check
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and comply with the Authorized Driver Policy to drive on behalf of the company
  • May require travel more than 50% of the time
  • Typical work day may require scheduling that incorporates multiple national time zones (AST/EST/CST/MST/PST) to suit customer needs
