About the role
- Senior Game Designer at Hutch in London working on an existing live mobile project
- Design levels, game features and mechanics, and balance gameplay for a live Match-3 title
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams (artists, programmers, QA, analysts)
- Create new and intuitive Match-3 levels and iterate on existing features using data insights
- Analyse gameplay data to address user experience issues
- Manage and work with external contractors to support development
Requirements
- Strong experience with game design in the mobile games industry
- Strong design mentality and intuition for game mechanics and systems
- Familiarity with Match-3 mobile games, casual puzzle games and their mechanics (F2P)
- Ability to work independently and efficiently as part of a small, fast-moving team
- Excellent communication and collaboration
- Experience with Unity
- Bonus: Experience working on Match-3 projects
- Bonus: Game Economy balancing and management
- Bonus: An understanding of Lean development
