About the role

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for non-executive roles (job postings, sourcing, screening, scheduling, offers)
  • Partner with hiring managers on interview planning and candidate experience
  • Support immigration-related recruiting processes (e.g., H-1B documentation)
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics (offer letters, background checks, Week 1 schedules)
  • Collaborate with IT for equipment provisioning and account setup
  • Enroll new hires in systems and tools and ensure smooth new hire experience through timely communications
  • Serve as first point of contact for employee questions on policies, benefits, PTO, and systems
  • Maintain HR systems (HRIS, ATS) and ensure employee records are accurate and compliant
  • Support handbook updates, policy rollouts, and compliance documentation
  • Prepare reports on recruiting, turnover, and engagement trends
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience
  • Execute employee engagement and recognition programs and assist with logistics for team events and on-sites

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in a startup or tech environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in HR tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, Gusto, CultureAmp, LifeLabs Learning, Traliant LMS)
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom)
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Experience with health technology or tech recruiting (preferred)
  • Familiarity with AI tools to streamline recruiting and HR workflows (preferred)
  • Exposure to immigration processes (e.g., H-1B, PERM) (preferred)
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) (preferred)
  • Proven ability to drive HR initiatives and projects to completion
