About the role
- Develops creative, clear-written material in support of the organization's communications strategies
- Plans, develops, and publishes internal or external communications (e.g., newsletters, brochures, manuals, website content)
- Develops and maintains the organization's style guide, including editorial standards and policies
- Begins to influence department’s strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
- Work may include occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings
- Participate in HireVue virtual pre-screen recorded interviews as part of hiring process
Requirements
- At least 3 years of digital copywriting experience
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication or similar field
- Ability to be flexible in a very fluid and dynamic environment – including dealing with changing processes and priorities
- Extremely well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, and able to easily move between strategic and tactical work
- Proficient with: Microsoft Office, SharePoint
- Familiar with content management systems – adobe preferred (Preferred)
- Familiar with online tracking tools, such as Jira align or similar software (Preferred)
- Work-At-Home Requirements: minimum download speed 25 mbps and upload speed 10 mbps; wireless, wired cable or DSL suggested; satellite, cellular and microwave only if approved
- Must have dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
- Any associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take an Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test
