About the role
- Manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish
- Designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing the project
- Monitors progress and performance against the project plan
- Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
- Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete the project
- Prepares designs and work specifications
- Develops project schedules, budgets and forecasts
- Communicates with other operational areas in the organization for specialized resources
- Conducts meetings and prepares reports to communicate the project status
- Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet targets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 2+ years of formal project management experience with large size initiatives implementing non-technical projects
- 2+ years working in a managed care healthcare system
- 2+ years’ experience leading and supporting business operations implementations
- Experience working with Medicaid requirements and guidelines (Preferred)
- PMP or PMI-ACP certifications (Preferred)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) (Preferred)
