On-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources
Assist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP
Participate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination of kickoff meetings
Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of training activities
Develop and issue the Project Management Plan and related project plans and procedures; facilitate the implementation across the larger project team
Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and tools
Ensure compliance with U. S. export control and other requirements
Support coordination of project activities; monitor and control progress on deliverables
Organize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management Plan
Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reports
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 5 years experience as a project manager OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience working on projects
Proven professional experience in project management, engineering or business
Eligibility requirements: ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or STEM preferred
Nuclear power experience in operations or engineering preferred
Proficient with project management software tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc)
Familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs preferred
Knowledge of the power industry, customer, and competitive environment preferred
Fundamental-level financial or accounting knowledge preferred
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines
