Focus on deployment and execution projects related to GE Vernova’s small modular reactors (SMR).
Report to the Project Management Leader, while supporting the respective Project Director and Project Managers.
Organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP.
Participate in project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination.
Monitor project budgets and schedules.
Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring training activities.
Develop and issue the Project Management Plan and related project plans and procedures.
Assist in project administration and configuration management of documentation.
Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and tools.
Ensure conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 2 years experience as a project manager OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience working on projects.
Proven professional experience in project management, engineering or business.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM.
Nuclear power experience in operations or engineering.
Proficient with project management software tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc).
Fundamental-level financial or accounting knowledge.
Experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs.
Knowledge of the power industry, customer, and competitive environment.
Financial control knowledge and understanding.
Must be able to work in the U.S. due to access to export-controlled information.
