About the role
- Focus on deployment and execution projects related to GE Vernova’s small modular reactors (SMR).
- Report to the Project Management Leader, while supporting the respective Project Director and Project Managers.
- Organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP.
- Participate in project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination.
- Monitor project budgets and schedules.
- Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring training activities.
- Develop and issue the Project Management Plan and related project plans and procedures.
- Assist in project administration and configuration management of documentation.
- Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and tools.
- Ensure conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 2 years experience as a project manager OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience working on projects.
- Proven professional experience in project management, engineering or business.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM.
- Nuclear power experience in operations or engineering.
- Proficient with project management software tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc).
- Fundamental-level financial or accounting knowledge.
- Experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs.
- Knowledge of the power industry, customer, and competitive environment.
- Financial control knowledge and understanding.
- Must be able to work in the U.S. due to access to export-controlled information.
