About the role
- Lead HubSpot’s fastest-growing product line (Data Hub), defining vision and strategy for core data primitives: Objects, Events, Query, Lists/Segmentation, and Data Setup
- Determine future vision for unstructured data, API strategy, data migration and setup
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, designers, UX, and other product leaders to build powerful, easy-to-use software
- Deep focus on understanding customers and personalizing their experience
- Represent HubSpot and the Product in public arenas, conferences, events, and with partners
- Collaborate on resourcing and broader product vision across the organization
- Lead and grow product development teams (20+): coach, empower, hire, and retain talent; create and foster diverse teams and an inclusive culture
- Set objectives aligning product development with key business goal metrics
- Craft and deliver product story to stakeholders and create alignment with other product Hubs and Executive leadership
- Identify external partnership and acquisition opportunities based on competitive landscape and customer needs
- Partner with engineering, designers, and UX to build useful, usable, delightful software that solves real customer pain
Requirements
- Proven product management experience at a GM, Product VP/Director, or start-up equivalent level
- Experience leading product development teams of 20+ through coaching, empowering, hiring, and retaining talent
- In-depth understanding of SaaS and usage-based economics
- Experience and subject matter expertise in big data processing, data infrastructure, and analytics
- Tested ability in influencing and aligning business leaders and executive levels
- Ability to establish clear priorities
- Effective communication and influencing skills
- Obsession with understanding and improving user experience
- Depth in coaching and leading successful product teams
- Ability to build trust, respect, and empathy
- Proven ability to foster a sense of team and mission
- Success in developing strong working relationships across the organization (tech leads, individual contributors, PMs, designers, peers, executives)
