Plant Financial Controller

Support Engineer

• Support hours for the organization are Monday through Friday 8AM to 6PM Eastern.
• The role will have after-hours support based on a rotation to be assigned by the Help Desk Manager.
• Serve as a business partner for the support of business applications solutions and processes.
• Comfortable working on and assisting others through company help desk software, and remote access desktop programs.
• Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns.
• Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage.
• Attend in-person meetings with management to discuss, analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and/or software issues.
• Resolve technical issues related to network interruptions, and actively update, maintain, and monitor all aspects of computer networks.
• Ability to work to corporate service level agreements.
• Attention to details and strong customer service orientation.

Help Desk Support Engineer

Network Engineer

• Design and implement secure network solutions, including RADIUS, SASE, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure access points across all Hood Container locations.
• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SD-WAN solutions across multiple manufacturing sites, assessing current infrastructure and recommending solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce network security policies and procedures.
• Configure and manage network security devices to protect against unauthorized access, data leaks, and cyber-attacks.
• Optimize network configurations to ensure high availability, redundancy, and performance appropriate for manufacturing environments where downtime directly impacts production.
• Collaborate with the Security Team to monitor network performance and security using EDR, NDR, and SIEM tools.
• Proactively identify issues before they impact production or business operations.
• Maintain patching and update schedules for all network devices to mitigate vulnerabilities across the environment.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security risks.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, breaches, and cyber threats.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans, and work closely with the cybersecurity team to prevent recurrence.
• Support network infrastructure across multiple manufacturing plants, ensuring consistent standards, configurations, and security posture at every site.
• Travel to plant locations as needed (up to 35%) for deployments, troubleshooting, and infrastructure assessments.
• Collaborate with plant operations and OT teams to support plant-floor network connectivity, ensuring appropriate segmentation between IT and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Serve as a technical resource and business partner for plant managers and stakeholders, translating network and security needs into solutions that support manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to continuously improve the organization's overall network security posture.
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior network engineers and IT staff on network security best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation of network configurations, topology, security policies, and procedures.
• Generate regular reports on network security status, incidents, and remediation efforts.
• Stay current with emerging network security trends, threats, and technologies.

Senior Network Engineer

Account Executive

• Serve as the primary internal contact for assigned customer accounts
• Process customer orders accurately through the ERP system, verifying pricing, specifications, and delivery dates in partnership with customer service
• Communicate order status, changes, and delivery schedules to customers and internal departments
• Coordinate with production scheduling, shipping, and design teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders
• Prepare and maintain sales reports, order tracking logs, and customer documentation as needed
• Support sales team with quotes, sample requests, customer inquiries, and prospect research
• Manage complaint resolution, credits, and returns in coordination with the quality and production teams
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with planning teams to manage repeat or blanket orders

Recruitment

• Manage and prioritize a heavy volume of salary and hourly requisitions.
• Manage full cycle recruiting processes, as well as assist with the development of recruiting strategies, processes, and tools.
• Support and manage diverse sourcing strategies, including referral generation, job advertisements, direct sourcing tools, and strategic industry partners.
• Become an expert within our Application Tracking System (ATS) - ADP to provide training & improvement opportunities within the recruitment process.
• Support administration and management of HR & Employee programs (e.g. Training, Performance Reviews, or Employee Recognition)
