About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with the General Manager and Plant Leaders to interpret financial results
- Analyze key variances and communicate clear explanations
- Provide proactive education on complex financial and operational matters
- Manage all accounting operations including General Ledger, Inventory, and Cost Accounting
- Own the month-end closing process and prepare financial statements
- Coordinate the plant’s budget and business planning activities
- Monitor and implement robust internal controls
- Lead the development of the on-site accounting team
- Work cross-functionally to achieve plant and corporate objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Five + years of progressive experience in a similar finance/controller role
- Experience in Packaging or Corrugated industry
- Strong manufacturing and Cost Accounting experience
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Solid understanding of basic ERP and production systems operations (Amtech preferred)
- Expert knowledge of US GAAP
