About the role

Monitor performance of the line or book of business and provide product strategy recommendations to divisional and departmental leadership
Evaluate and track competitor products, pricing information and target markets
Research competitor pricing and rating programs providing insights to the business for pricing enhancements and new products
Support product and pricing decisions, working with analytics, catastrophe management, countrywide actuarial, state management, and partner management teams
Develop reporting and database functionality for other teams to consume and maintain a library of all competitive information
Analyze the performance of the products, agent, or book of business and evaluate profit factors
Develop working relationships with other lines to identify product gaps and opportunities
Research and develop concepts for complex products or services and work with partners in pricing/actuarial, claims to ensure product compliance and financial viability
Produce detailed competitive analysis for personal lines products and provide recommendations to leadership to maximize product offerings
Stay informed about all rate changes, rating enhancements and program changes by competitors and ensure analysis accuracy explaining drivers and insights

Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
Demonstrated experience performing complex financial, actuarial or business analysis
Solid knowledge and understanding of customer, business industry, insurance, underwriting guidelines and risk concepts in area of expertise
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills to review complex products, and/or lines of business
Demonstrated experience making independent decisions
Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools
Experience with data visualization programs like Tableau, Looker and Looker Studio preferred
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint is required
Experience with cloud tools such as GCP, AWS, BigQuery and GitLab
Ability to prioritize rapidly shifting assignments effectively
Effective Communication across a variety of media including facilitation and presenting results to management
Up to 10% travel
