Product Analyst

• Monitor performance of the line or book of business and provide product strategy recommendations to divisional and departmental leadership
• Evaluate and track competitor products, pricing information and target markets
• Research competitor pricing and rating programs providing insights to the business for pricing enhancements and new products
• Support product and pricing decisions, working with analytics, catastrophe management, countrywide actuarial, state management, and partner management teams
• Develop reporting and database functionality for other teams to consume and maintain a library of all competitive information
• Analyze the performance of the products, agent, or book of business and evaluate profit factors
• Develop working relationships with other lines to identify product gaps and opportunities
• Research and develop concepts for complex products or services and work with partners in pricing/actuarial, claims to ensure product compliance and financial viability
• Produce detailed competitive analysis for personal lines products and provide recommendations to leadership to maximize product offerings
• Stay informed about all rate changes, rating enhancements and program changes by competitors and ensure analysis accuracy explaining drivers and insights
