Vice President

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to Regional and District leadership teams, cultivating a dynamic, knowledgeable, and skilled workforce.
• Works with Operational leadership, HR, and the Regional/District teams to develop a “people strategy” that aligns with the business strategy.

VP – West Region

Accounting Manager

• Leads the strategy, administration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of core enterprise applications, focusing on accounting systems
• Partners closely with Controllers, Audit, and other stakeholders to ensure systems are reliable, secure, compliant, and scalable
• Manages an analyst and external partners to deliver high-quality, automated, and data-driven solutions
• Maintains and enhances existing standard operating procedures and processes
• Creates new process documentation, procedures, and policies in partnership with IT teams and key business stakeholders
• Coordinates, negotiates, and administers vendor and internal relationships with key stakeholders
• Supports IT teams as part of escalations and/or projects
• Manages release process, testing, and communication for assigned application platform
• Facilitates change management processes, including development and execution of test scripts, communication plans, implementation plans, and rollback plans
• Performs administration, maintenance, and updates of assigned application platforms

Collections

• Contacting and managing the accounts of past residents who owe AMH a balance
• Negotiating repayment terms and setting up payment arrangements
• Disputing charges and ensuring payments are made in accordance with signed agreements
• Documenting activity in CRM database
• Performing administrative duties such as noting accounts, managing profiles, and updating records
• Attending meetings and participating in growth and development opportunities including coaching and attending training

Security Engineer

• Responsible for the research, testing, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of security products and services
• Cloud security and cloud risk management
• Designing, testing, and implementing secure operating systems, networks, and databases
• Password auditing, network based and Web application-based vulnerability scanning, virus management, and intrusion detection
• Conducting risk audits and assessments, providing recommendations for application design
• Monitoring and analyzing system access logs
• Planning for security backup and system disaster recovery
• Managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision
• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals
• Research, test, implement, optimize, and maintain new security products and services to address future and current threats
• Develops, maintains, and supports processes to support the IT Security Framework such as incident management, cloud risk management, and cloud security
• Act as an escalation path to Security issues and lead forensic investigations
• Identifies and investigates actual or potential information security violations
• Performs follow up investigations with written reports
• Participate in application and infrastructure projects to provide security planning and implementation
• Develop dashboards and metrics that includes incident reporting and risk management reporting.
