Software Engineer

• Develop and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS programming software on Hexagon CMMs.
• Program and operate CMMs to perform dimensional inspections.
• Perform the CMM “prove-out” and validation on first-run or revised programs; refine the program and inspection method as necessary.
• Translate engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T into accurate inspection routines.
• Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections of parts.
• Analyze measurement data and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and report non-conformances.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production teams to optimize inspection processes.
• Improve the efficiency of programming and inspection methods and processes—both speed and accuracy—while minimizing necessary secondary verifications.
• Create and maintain detailed inspection reports.
• Document and update work instructions and standard operating procedures as applicable.

• Lead measurement and layout of customer-supplied components to inform design direction
• Create detailed 3D models and drawings in SOLIDWORKS for custom instrument solutions
• Design components that integrate modern electronics with classic aesthetics
• Collaborate with internal teams to bring designs from concept through production

• Manage both short- and long-term production schedules.
• Allocate resources to needed jobs.
• Release production tickets.
• Review and adjust production schedules daily to adhere to business needs.
• Utilize MRP and compare system suggestions against actual demand.
• Coordinate with production team and communicate business needs.
• Calculate production rates and help with capacity planning.
• Track production records.
• Ensure schedules are followed (schedule compliance/ adherence).
• Work cross functionally with quality, sales, customer service, engineering, and product management teams to ensure smooth execution of the plan.
• Identify materials shortages and communicate in a timely manner.
• Maintain correct MRP system data (Lead times, Orders minimums, orders maximum (EOQ)… etc).
• Utilize ERP system (Syteline) and power BI to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Track inventory levels and ensure top sales SKUs are available.
• Update ATP dates on a regular basis.

Sales

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships that promote customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate customer information.
• Assist customers with product availability, order status, shipping updates, and general account questions.
• Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Expedite rush orders and update sales orders, shipping information, and customer requests as needed.
• Perform data entry related to sales activity, customer information, and operational records.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support order fulfillment and customer communications.
• Coordinate with Sales, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to support order fulfillment and inventory availability.
• Assist with retail store support, customer calls, and walk-in customers as needed.
• Support customer meetings, trade shows, and promotional events when requested.
• Communicate order, inventory, or shipping issues to appropriate team members for timely resolution.
• Provide administrative support to the sales team and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
