About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships that promote customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate customer information.
  • Assist customers with product availability, order status, shipping updates, and general account questions.
  • Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Expedite rush orders and update sales orders, shipping information, and customer requests as needed.
  • Perform data entry related to sales activity, customer information, and operational records.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support order fulfillment and customer communications.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to support order fulfillment and inventory availability.
  • Assist with retail store support, customer calls, and walk-in customers as needed.
  • Support customer meetings, trade shows, and promotional events when requested.
  • Communicate order, inventory, or shipping issues to appropriate team members for timely resolution.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail, office, customer service, or sales support experience required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the motorsports, racing, or automotive aftermarket industry is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP or order management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical activities including repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Provide support at race events, trade shows, and promotional activities as needed; occasional travel up to 5%.
