About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships that promote customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate customer information.
- Assist customers with product availability, order status, shipping updates, and general account questions.
- Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Expedite rush orders and update sales orders, shipping information, and customer requests as needed.
- Perform data entry related to sales activity, customer information, and operational records.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support order fulfillment and customer communications.
- Coordinate with Sales, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to support order fulfillment and inventory availability.
- Assist with retail store support, customer calls, and walk-in customers as needed.
- Support customer meetings, trade shows, and promotional events when requested.
- Communicate order, inventory, or shipping issues to appropriate team members for timely resolution.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team and management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail, office, customer service, or sales support experience required.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the motorsports, racing, or automotive aftermarket industry is a plus.
- Experience with ERP or order management systems is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical activities including repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Provide support at race events, trade shows, and promotional activities as needed; occasional travel up to 5%.
