Execute Service work in accordance with Hitachi Energy standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Deliver quality customer service to satisfy prestigious customers.
Identify new service opportunities for Hitachi Energy.
Undertake and coordinate service activities on site, while keeping a close eye on health and safety and quality standards, schedules, and progress reporting.
Responsible for high-voltage service activities, including installation and commissioning, carrying out refurbishments, device replacements, routine maintenance, inspections, and identifying problems.
Coordinate all delivered parts, materials, and components for each project.
Lead jobs from start to finish under the direction of the project manager, maintain project site documentation and checklists, prepare reports, and help to resolve on-site issues.
Assess and highlight hazards and implement actions to ensure safety of both people and equipment.
Requirements
Electrical Engineering-related HNC or suitable industry experience.
Experience within the High Voltage or the power sector (installation/service/maintenance) and/or a broad knowledge of power engineering plant and equipment.
Proven experience with Mechanical installations, Switchgear, Cabling/wiring installation, Oil handling/processing/sampling, device function checks, and power equipment testing instruments, Omicron/Megger etc.
Experience in leading a team/management of subcontractors.
Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
Suitable qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CCNSG, though training will be provided.
Full driving licence.
