About the role

  • responsible for Sales of all Hitachi Energy Products and Services (High Voltage, Transformer, Grid Integration, Grid Automation, Service) in accordance with Business Unit strategy and will report to Head of Sales in Philippines.
  • responsible for sales of products & services within electrical utility and industry market in Central and Eastern Visayas , in accordance with strategy, build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues.
  • identify and develop sales opportunities, ensure positive customer experience throughout the sales process and homologation /accreditation.
  • prepare sales plans using company tools, including Salesforce.com, create added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy, ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
  • ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers, identify, and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market, ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration, manage administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed.
  • prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Market Manager and ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
  • responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar field, working as sales or business development.
  • Experience interacting with engineers and other professionals, as well as VP's and upper management.
  • A benefit would be experience working with channel partners, working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce.com.
  • Great network & knowledge in local EPC and OEM portfolio.
  • Action oriented, analytical, attention to detail, strong interpersonal & communication skills, teamwork oriented and willing to travel to different sites in Visayas Region.
  • A valid driver license & Role will be based in Metro Cebu.
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English and local Cebuano Dialect.
