Mechanical Engineer

• Evaluate next generation hardware, analyze results and make recommendations to the design team.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to design and develop advanced sensor products.
• Work in a motivated, cross-disciplinary team passionate about solving challenging problems and delivering results.
• Receive mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback from experienced engineers.
• Use 3D solid modeling to design mechanical solutions for tightly controlled enclosures and fixtures.
• Assist with or perform structural, thermal, and other failure analyses to meet environmental and structural requirements.
• Optimize designs for feasibility, manufacturability, cost, thermal performance, strength-weight efficiency, and ease of assembly.
• Create and maintain cable assemblies/harnesses and other peripheral interface designs.
• Solve design challenges using a variety of materials and fabrication methods including plastics, composites, metals, 3D-printing, machining, etc.
• Define, maintain, and communicate requirements to 3rd-party fabrication houses and work closely with them through component and product delivery.
• Perform design verification and integration of new components and support field testing.
• Author assembly instructions and drawings in support of in-house production.
• Aid with the management of bills of material (BOM) and other production and fabrication artifacts.
• Review hardware parts for obsolescence and identify suitable replacements.
• Assist with or provide information in support of project planning, execution, and oversight.

Mechanical Engineering Intern

Solutions Engineer

• Lead the technical solutioning and author technical volumes of RFI/RFP responses, white papers, and customer-facing deliverables
• Translate complex technical concepts into compelling, customer-aligned solutions
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Product to shape win themes, technical discriminators, and architecture narratives
• Lead technical planning and execution of emerging product demos, live flight events, and customer trials
• Serve as a front-line technical expert during DoD, federal, and enterprise customer engagements
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure operational readiness for demonstrations
• Provide technical support to business development from early shaping to final proposal submission
• Participate in customer discovery and requirements definition efforts
• Bridge Products, Engineering, and Sales to ensure solution integrity and alignment with roadmap
• Independently own technical solutioning workstreams to reduce dependency on core engineering teams
• Serve as technical lead for product demonstrations and live flight events with ~25-30% travel
