Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and Scale Mission Operations
Own the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of Hidden Level’s Mission Operations organization.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Mission Operations engineers.
Establish operational standards, mission and readiness frameworks.
Oversee operational planning for customer fielding, system acceptance, and sustainment.
Serve as the executive operational leader for critical customer and mission events.
Provide strategic oversight for customer missions.
Develop operational governance, risk management processes, and escalation frameworks.
Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations leadership.
Establish mission readiness metrics, operational KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
Serve as a trusted advisor to customer leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in mission operations, field operations, technical program execution, customer success, military operations, or related disciplines.
Experience deploying and supporting complex hardware/software systems in operational environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, mission-critical situations.
Strong customer engagement skills with the ability to build credibility and trust across technical and operational stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under ambiguous or rapidly changing conditions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior customer leadership.
Ability to travel up to 40% in support of customer deployments, demonstrations, and mission activities.
