About the role
- Position the HPE Storage product, data services and solution portfolio working on selected Public Accounts in Germany
- Expand existing and develop new long-term customer and strong channel partner relationships
- Focus on business outcomes for customers, leveraging GreenLake Offerings, Private Cloud and AI portfolio
- Identify and engage customers seeking scalable and secure private cloud solutions using HPE Private Cloud Business Edition (PCBE)
- Position PCBE, drive adoption of HPE VM Essentials and promote Zerto’s portfolio for data protection and disaster recovery
- Develop a deep understanding of the end customer's business drivers and implement requirements via comprehensive consulting at all levels
- Lead projects across the entire lifecycle: initial contact, PoCs, tender responses, negotiations, contract conclusion and lifecycle management
- Collaborate closely with Digital Sales, Sales Support, Presales, GreenLake team, Zerto Sales, Hybrid Solutions Group and Storage Category
Requirements
- Academic degree in business administration or similar
- +5 years of sales experience with complex IT solutions in public account segment (Federal and Local Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, Defence)
- Profound knowledge of the storage and data services market
- Ability to take sales responsibility for storage, data services, PCBE, VME opportunities
- Sales excellence in building a sales pipeline, forecasting and customer management
- Eagerness to develop deep product and solution knowledge and differentiation from competition
- Distinctive customer orientation and consulting skills combined with assertiveness and sales attitude
- Team- and goal-oriented work; creativity, initiative and reliability
- Excellent communication, presentation, and closing skills
- Business fluency in German and English
- Ability to work hybrid (average 2 days/week from an HPE office)
