About the role
- Manage all B2B sales activities within a specific territory
- Regular consultative contact with every account to grow merchandise, equipment, and service sales
- Build a business relationship with customers around Henry Schein offerings
- Achieve quarterly and annual gross profit goals; coordinate team selling
- Develop and increase Merchandise, Equipment, and Service Sales in defined territory; face-to-face consultative contact with every customer and regular reviews
- Seek out new sales opportunities via cold calling, networking, and social media
- Plan and implement strategies using company programs and tools to increase market share in Merchandise, Equipment, Service and Henry Schein Solutions
- Use CMS, CRM, and predictive sales tools
- Attend sales meetings, dental conventions, seminars, internal training, and industry events
- Travel within territory as required
Requirements
- At least 2 years prior sales experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline (preferred)
- Professional selling skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
- Proficient computer software skills including the use of Microsoft Office suite
- Attention to detail
- Project management skills
- Travel extensively within a specific geographic territory assignment
