About the role
- Provide analytical support and oversee market operations
- Translate strategic vision into operations and build operational infrastructure to support market growth and efficiency
- Manage multi-million-dollar P&L (~$5M of revenue)
- Maintain understanding of daily operations, policies and procedures; identify roadblocks and process gaps; ensure roster adherence to workflow changes
- Solicit and problem solve issues faced by clinical and administrative teams
- Drive reporting on operational performance and care management metrics; review KPIs, analysis, and present results
- Translate metrics into actionable operational recommendations; partner with others to execute findings
- Create metrics for data-driven mentoring/feedback to staff
- Collaborate with local and shared services colleagues to plan and execute initiatives to improve clinical delivery model and provider schedule management
- Serve as engagement champion to grow total census under management; oversee scheduling tactics and community relationships
- Act as day-to-day project manager on key market initiatives; manage timelines and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Support launch of new clients including patient and provider outreach, geographic analysis and coordination
- Lead a team responsible for administrative functioning of a market, including Executive visit prep, vendor coordination, PTO and payroll systems, on-call schedule, facilities, supplies, calendar management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or 3+ years of administrative management experience in health care, preferably in a managed care/value-based care setting
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar P&L (~$5M of revenue)
- Familiarity with valued-based arrangements, including shared savings and risk
- Experience managing a team and driving collaboration across teams
- Analytic, decisive with the ability to prioritize and communicate objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals
