About the role
- Perform on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment/products
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Ensure timely and quality service delivery
- Provide phone and email support to customers
- Assist in resolving technical queries and issues
- Maintain accurate records of service activities
- Update customer databases and documentation
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services
- Work with other service engineers and teams to share knowledge and best practices
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of equipment/products
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and organizational skills
- Relevant industry certifications or training
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in a related field (e.g., Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumental or Mechatronics engineering technology)
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a service engineering role
- Proven track record of success in service delivery and technical support
- Ready to travel across India (for field service roles)
- Ability to lift and carry equipment (as required)
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays (as required)
- Dynamic to learn new things
- Disciplined with good inter-personal skills
- Team player and self-driven
