Responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of ServiceNow applications.
Translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow.
Lead development of ServiceNow applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to other ServiceNow developers and development teams.
Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications, modules, and scoped apps.
Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
Review functionality developed by the ServiceNow development team; perform unit, system, and integration testing.
Debug and fix technical problems; ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of solutions.
Support development of detailed technical and functional documentation and provide demonstrations to product owners and end users.
Participate in platform upgrade activities, including regression testing and reconfiguration.
Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
Requirements
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years of ServiceNow experience supported by ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD).
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST, preferred.
Strong experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build rapport at all levels.
Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks; heightened attention to detail.
(Nice-to-have) Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF).
(Nice-to-have) Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
(Nice-to-have) General understanding of financial management aspects in a federal environment.
Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week (preferred).
