About the role
- Advise on a range of mission-related issues on existing engagements and new pursuits
- Engagement delivery and new opportunity pursuit with emphasis on thought leadership and public speaking
- Seek intersections between defense, homeland, national security and law enforcement entities to develop integrated solutions
- Engage with senior executives to analyze and understand business initiatives
- Develop and grow a business portfolio supporting key policy and mission deliveries
- Manage and support industry leaders
- Engage with internal and external partners to develop collaborative environments in support of deliverables
- Foster external relationships and brand awareness across industries
Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- TEN (10) or more years' experience supporting the federal government either through direct employment or as contractor/consultant
- Experience engaging with senior leaders within federal government
- Strong communications acumen in support of client engagement and briefing
- Experience translating policy into programmatic actions
- Knowledge of Defense & National Security industry missions and initiatives
- Travel Required : Up to 25%
- Clearance Required : Active Secret
- What Would Be Nice To Have : An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance, or higher level
- What Would Be Nice To Have : Graduate degree or higher level
