About the role
- Analyze, manage, and optimize service, parts, and collision repair departments to improve profitability and customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain reports, reporting tools, and databases to support Fixed Operations
- Collect, summarize, and utilize data to produce monthly reporting and management presentations
- Provide insights and recommendations for forecasting, sales and margin opportunities, and process improvements
- Perform market and sales financial analysis using Polk data and various financial and sales metrics
- Maintain reporting systems and data, identify and correct reporting issues, and provide user support
- Respond to new user requests: evaluate needs, design, document, develop, test, and deploy reports/dashboards
- Assist Field Management with system support and general usage
- Coordinate meetings between corporate and dealership management
- Work closely with accounting and fixed operations managers to develop and document reporting processes
- Keep abreast of business terminology and technology changes in products and services
- Potential for up to 25% travel
Requirements
- A Bachelors degree in Business or Accounting is required
- Three years experience in financial/operational analysis, controlling or business unit accounting (required)
- Must be familiar with Fixed Operations specifically
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of truck dealership operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access and Excel for financial reporting
- Experience performing market and sales financial analysis using Polk data and financial/sales metrics
- Potential for up to 25% travel
