About the role
- Help federal clients within Defense & National Security optimize all elements of their finance management structure
- Build professional and personal consulting skillsets while gaining a strong understanding of consulting within a financial capability
- Accounting and budget management
- Audit remediation activities, such as developing/updating process documentation (e.g., narratives and flow charts) and developing/implementing corrective action plans to address findings
- Performing recurring testing, such as testing internal controls, designing and executing Manager’s Internal Controls Programs
- Performing and reviewing statement analysis, financial information, reporting results, and financial statement audit report analysis
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, Secret, or higher level of federal/government security clearance
- US Citizenship is required for security clearance
- Travel Required: Up to 10%
- United States college or university majors focusing in accounting, finance, change management, or business information systems (nice to have)
- ACTIVE and CURRENT security clearance (nice to have)
- Strong organizational and communication skills (nice to have)
- Interest in growing a career in consulting, preferably government/federal/DoD consulting (nice to have)
