About the role
- Perform standard reload analysis work for US and international customers following approved methodologies, procedures, and internal processes
- Maintain focus on nuclear safety and quality to produce error free work
- Develop and optimize safe, economic bundle and core designs
- Develop cycle operation techniques and simulate transient events to establish reactor operating limits
- Perform engineering design and analysis and propose solutions to complex, not well-defined problems
- Coordinate and integrate complex technical projects across multiple teams to meet budget and schedule requirements
- Develop and deliver presentations to communicate status, problem resolution or promote related business products
- Support development and implementation of new methods and processes for implementing technical requirements
- Coordinate technical documents for licensing approvals and provide expertise and consultation to technical panels, reviews, committees, regulators, customers, and partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or related Discipline (e.g., Mechanical) preferred or recognized equivalent required
- 0+ years' experience required
- Experience working in a team environment
- Computer programing skills
- Ability to meet export control regulations and related hiring requirements
