About the role
- Researches, analyzes and calculates data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
- Prepares design criteria and bid packages for pricing by subcontractors.
- Participates in estimating process for building systems.
- Analyzes subcontractor proposals to confirm criteria is being satisfied.
- Reviews construction documents and construction installed from subcontractors to confirm compliance with scope and contract documents.
- Reviews and updates engineering design standards.
- Work in Atlanta, GA office in Mechanical Engineering group; support design–build mechanical construction packages from design to completion.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Gray internships are open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S. that do not need current and/or future visa sponsorship or work status authorization for employment.
- Eligible for Summer 2026 internship (student status expected).
- No visa sponsorship provided (must be authorized to work in the U.S.).
