About the role
- Develop and refine cost estimates for electrical systems
- Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to refine estimating techniques
- Lead the distribution of technical RFP documents
- Prepare and maintain detailed, organized records of cost estimates
- Assist in preparing project proposals and conducting bid evaluations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related discipline)
- 8+ years of experience in electrical design, project estimating, or construction management
- Prior experience in construction estimating is preferred but not required
- Experience reviewing and analyzing construction documents from subcontractors and engineers
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in industry specific modeling or estimating tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
