About the role
- Function as a key advisor to GoTo’s General & Administrative (G&A) functions, including HR, Legal, Finance, Facilities, and other administrative departments.
- Work directly with management and internal stakeholders to manage expenses and provide strategic financial recommendations aimed at driving efficient resource allocation and supporting overall business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, establishing trust and developing a deep understanding of the business drivers relevant to G&A operations.
- Own the forecast for both labor and non-labor expenses within G&A, provide financial reporting and analytical support for P&L projections, and conduct variance analysis to explain changes in business performance.
- Deliver financial metrics, ad hoc reporting, and scenario modeling to empower G&A leaders, identifying areas for optimization and operational improvements.
- Become highly knowledgeable about financial systems, data sources, and backend processes to pinpoint and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Support company-wide initiatives by driving alignment between G&A resource planning and business objectives, playing a critical role in budget adherence and strategic project execution.
- Collaborate closely with FP&A peers in other business functions to drive cohesive planning, improve communications, and contribute to a unified financial strategy across the organization
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience supporting executive-level stakeholders, managing functional budgets, and supporting organizational hiring strategies in a software products (SaaS) company or similar industry (i.e., similar business models, challenges, and complexity, etc.)
- 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, management consulting, investment analysis, accounting, and/or strategic planning; experience supporting G&A functions is a plus
- Advanced financial modeling skills, with high proficiency in Excel and the ability to build robust, auditable models to support decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Experience working with ERP tools such as NetSuite, Workday, and Oracle Hyperion
- Ability to work in the Eastern Time Zone; United States or Province of Quebec, Canada (location requirement)
