About the role

  • Remote position as Oracle Accounting Hub Lead on McBride’s Financial Services Industry (FSI) team.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle Accounting Hub: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Accounting Hub and General Ledger processes; advise on best practices, compliance, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, IT, risk, compliance) to align accounting solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and oversee integrations between Oracle Accounting Hub, General Ledger, and upstream/downstream systems ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.
  • Manage project delivery including timelines, resources, stakeholder communications, risk identification and mitigation.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and client staff to foster knowledge transfer and capability building.
  • Support ongoing optimization and enhancement of accounting processes leveraging Oracle Cloud capabilities and automation tools.
  • Stay current on FSI regulatory changes and Oracle product updates to ensure compliant, innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Oracle Accounting Hub and General Ledger modules, including at least 2 years in a lead or architect role.
  • Strong background in the Financial Services Industry, with understanding of sector-specific accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of leading Oracle ERP implementations, ideally in banking, insurance, asset management, or similar FSI organizations.
  • Technical proficiency in Oracle Cloud ERP, including configuration, data migration, and integration (APIs, middleware).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences.
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, IFRS, or GAAP as applied in FSI environments.
  • Certified in Oracle Accounting Hub (preferred).
  • Experience with other Oracle financial modules (Accounts Payable, Receivable, Fixed Assets) (preferred).
  • Knowledge of automation tools (RPA, AI) and data analytics in finance (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities (preferred).
