About the role

  • Platform management including posting, moderation, and membership administration on Circle; guide new members through onboarding workflows and regularly audit and optimize the process.
  • Provide responsive member support via posts and DMs with a customer service–first mindset.
  • Build and maintain content calendars and project management systems to ensure consistent, high-quality programming.
  • Coordinate live events such as trainings, AMAs, and panels (promotion, facilitation, recordings, and follow-ups).
  • Lead development of at least two new courses per quarter that serve as both educational resources and conversion funnels.
  • Provide input on community content, videos, and course improvements to increase engagement and completion rates.
  • Drive KPIs and success metrics for community growth, retention, and conversion.
  • Develop strategies to convert community members into active product users and Pro memberships.
  • Partner with the Growth and Marketing teams to attract new members through targeted campaigns and compelling storytelling.
  • Identify and cultivate emerging community leaders, contributors, and mentors.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Mobilization teams to align programming with campaign milestones and optimize overall effectiveness.

Requirements

  • You’re up for the audacious challenge of leveraging technology to transform our civic leadership in America and you don’t think the two-party system is the answer.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in community management, ideally within mission-driven or tech-enabled organizations.
  • Proven success leading an active community of at least 3,000 members (5,000–10,000+ preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive conversions off the community platform (e.g., from community engagement into product adoption, program enrollment, etc.).
  • Skilled in designing scalable systems and workflows for community and content management, including the implementation of automations, development of content calendaring practices, and the use of experiments to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • You’re on the cutting edge testing the latest technology and AI tools that help scale our online community.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing digital community content.
  • You’re analytical, growth-oriented, data-driven, curious, and always testing new ideas.
  • You have a “marketer brain” with high marketing acumen, an eye for storytelling, aesthetics, and the user journey.
  • You’re a clear and empathetic communicator. You’re patient, inclusive, and able to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • You collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and mobilization teams to align content and programming with campaign milestones and organizational goals.
  • You’re a technical whiz administrating community platforms (Circle preferred), CRMs (Hubspot preferred), and project management tools (ClickUp preferred).
  • Must be physically located in the United States; we are not considering candidates currently based outside of the US and cannot provide sponsorship.
  • Bonus if: You have experience scaling communities to 10,000+ members.
  • Bonus if: You’re comfortable with light content creation (short video, visual content, editing templates).
  • Bonus if: You’ve got experience studying, working, or volunteering in politics, civics, or democracy reform.
  • Bonus if: You are anti-establishment and are sick of sitting on the sidelines watching our democracy fail to meet its potential.
Benefits
  • We’re a Public Benefit Corporation that prioritizes social impact over profit.
  • Innovative Bitcoin denominated deferred bonus plan, allowing you to have the amazing upside of being in a startup while working on a truly meaningful mission.
  • Work where and how you like, on a fully remote team spread across the country.
  • Join a passionate team with diverse political views focused on one mission.
  • 100% coverage of health, dental, and vision benefits for you and your dependents.
  • Unlimited PTO (sick and vacation) policy.
  • 401(k) program available so you can contribute toward retirement savings (no employer match).
  • Individual learning & development budget to fund your growth.
  • Workspace setup stipend to ensure remote work setup.
